Fundraising Total Exceeds £30,000

A well-attended wine-tasting event hosted by Bury-based Beckett Financial Services raised £1,000 for St Nicholas Hospice.

The annual event was enthusiastically supported by local companies and brought the total amount of money raised by Becketts to over £30,000. ?It?s wonderful to see so many local people come out and support the hospice,? said Robert Beckett, Chairman of Becketts, pictured right. ?We have been hosting this wine-tasting evening for fifteen years and it has always been one of the most important parts of our fundraising activities.?

Receiving the cheque was Lizzie Cross on behalf of St Nicholas Hospice who was pictured with Tim Laycock of winners ProFlat, Justin Cain of catering company Moveable Feast and Christopher Batten of Thomas Peatling wines.  A special mention goes to A Place Setting who provided the crockery and cuttlery.
