Becketts Strengthen Pensions Team

Becketts has recruited a new consultant to help handle our pensions business: Stephen Mooney has joined our team to provide specialist advice on auto enrolment.

?Stephen has come from the Group Personal Pensions team at Aviva,? says Nicola Prince, Director of Employee Benefits.  ?His work there enabled him to gain a huge amount of experience in planning and implementing auto enrolment, and so he is just what we were looking for.?

Mooney worked at Aviva for eleven years and spent three years specialising in pensions consultation. ?The introduction of auto enrolment has resulted in a large amount of extra work for HR and payroll departments,? said Stephen. ?I?ve dealt with a variety of different companies and I?ve always enjoyed clarifying the process with employers and employees alike.?

Mooney?s practical experience is backed up with a Certificate in Pensions Auto Enrolment from the Pensions Management Institute in addition to other qualifications including the Diploma in Financial Planning.

?We wanted someone who could start working with our clients straight away,? said Prince. ?Stephen understands all the issues employers will be facing and is able to provide practical and qualified help.?
