Becketts Recruit Apprentice and Graduate
A growing investment client-base and a demand for Employee Benefits consultancy have led to Beckett Investment Management Group recruiting two new employees.
Emily Rowling (18) joined Becketts as an Apprentice after completing her A-levels. ?I?m working with the Employee Benefits team most of the time, and I?m learning a variety of different skills,? says Emily. ?My apprenticeship will take around eighteen months to complete and is comprised of four topics for my Level 3 NVQ in Business and Administration which I?m studying at West Suffolk College.? Emily, who recently took part in a skydive in aid of St Nicholas Hospice, is enjoying her first experience of work: ?I have already gained valuable knowledge and skills, and I feel lucky to have joined a local company that has enabled me to develop in such a supportive and stimulating environment.?
Bosun Kamson (21) was recruited as a Trainee Financial Adviser after graduating with a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of East Anglia. ?I have always been interested in finance and so I jumped at the opportunity to join Becketts after leaving University,? says Bo. ?I have already completed the first examination for my Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and I?m working hard to become an accredited financial adviser.? Bo, a keen chef, is focused on bringing more success to the company that gave him his first job: ?I want to see Becketts continue to prosper so that I can repay them for the faith they?ve shown in me.?
?Emily and Bo have strengthened our team and helped us cope with the increased work-load we have encountered from the implementation of pensions auto enrolment,? says Ian White, Managing Director of Becketts. ?We are committed to investing in new staff so that every part of our business will continue to thrive.?
