COVID-19

28th July 2020

The team at Becketts is proactively exploring ways in which we can continue to work with our clients over the forthcoming weeks and months, and the following information outlines our actions:

Minimising Transmission

We are continuing to take pre-emptive steps to minimise the risk of coronavirus being transmitted in our workplaces, following advice from the Government and Public Health England.

In this respect, the Becketts team will work from our offices and from home in a rota system.

Individuals are provided with the devices they need to work remotely, and phone calls can be answered whilst working outside of the office.

We are instructing individuals to self-isolate if they:

  • are displaying symptoms of the virus
  • have family members who are displaying symptoms
  • may have come into contact with coronavirus

Meetings In Our offices

In line with current government guidance, we will avoid any unnecessary face-to-face meetings. This means that meetings will not be held at our offices at the moment.

Where it is essential that meetings have to be face-to-face, we recommend meeting outside, in well ventilated areas, adhering to the Government’s 2m social distancing rules.

All consultants will keep a record of clients they have visited for the last 21 days to comply with the Track and Trace system.

Investment Management

Our investment team continues to monitor developments closely; we are reviewing our positions and looking for opportunities in rapidly-changing markets, whilst looking to minimise risk in volatile markets.

Next Steps

We remain committed to the safety of our clients and people, and are confident that the steps introduced will avoid any material disruption to the service we provide to our clients.

We will, however, continue to monitor developments and provide updates as the situation evolves.

Your Sincerely

Ian White, Managing Director
